La MV Agusta 125 è una moto prodotta dalla casa lombarda a partire dal 1953 come proposta alternativa agli scooter che stavano cominciando ad avere un grande successo di mercato proprio nello stesso periodo. I punti di forza dovevano essere la cilindrata praticamente identica a quella dei rivali e maggiori maneggevolezza e sicurezza dovute al più ampio diametro delle ruote.
